I don't think so. The copy they found is from two hundred years later, reportedly copied from another source. The problem is that there were hundreds of other "gospels" that were written at the same time as part of the gnostic movement, which doesn't have very much to do with christianity.

Many book were considered when the Bible was put together by the early church. They were accepted only if they were from a verifiable and reliable source and clearly agreed with the rest of the bible. So no the gospel of Judas shouldn't be added.

No. The Judas Gospel comes from the heresy of Gnosticism. The Bible was closed forever by the Pope in 405 A.D.

If you've read the Judas Gospel you know it goes counter to the major Gospels of the New Testament and the bible says "a house divided against itself can not stand", so no.

I think if this was actually written by Judas then yes it should be added to the Bible, but it was not. This as written in his name about 200 A.D. well after Judas was gone. They found the scrolls I believe in Egypt in about 1947. They are not true, it just shows that people were corrupt back then as they are now, and people make up silly beliefs that are not true.

It has not been proven that it was written by Judas, so it should not be added to the Canonized Bible. Also, Judas hung himself before Jesus was crucified, and he did not give any manuscripts to the other disciples for safe keeping or continuation that we know of.

YES! Along with Thomas, Peter and Mary. Even if the official christianity won't recognize them they need to be published. I like to share this tidbit straight from Jesus's mouth with arrogant right wing conservative christains: matthew 10:7 " go not unto the way of the gentiles I am only come to the lost sheep of the house of israel.". Ever wonder why this little gem missed the men trying to censor the word of God when they put the bible together-:)

The bible was written by men.
The Pope who closed the book in 405 was also a Man.
Do you trust men?

No, the Bible is a complete work. It even says that nothing should be added to It or left out of It.

No, he was a loser. He used to steal money from the till. He was an ungrateful, no good, lowdown, flatfooted, scheming, underhanded, diabolical, dirty, two bit, belly-bouncing son of a gun with no respect, no consideration, and no common sense whatsoever. A scurvy-ridden little rat who narked out the Son of God.
On second thought, let's make him a cult hero.
