Hi,
We have several Jersey cows on our little farm, and although I prefer our old milking machine, during power outages, I've had to go back to the hand method. It is a lot of work. I prefer the machine, and I think the cows do too!

Yeah, years ago my grandma had a farm. Her jersey cow was very quiet and she let me milk it.
The milk was delicious as the cow was a pet and wasn't fed antibiotics etc.

No but i have milked a goat on a farm. Goats milk tastes much better than cow's milk.

Yes...on my uncle's dairy farm before they had milking machines. The fun part of the job was when all the cats on the farm would come and sit and wait patiently for a squirt. I missed a couple times....

Yes, many years ago. A very relaxing experience, once you get the hang of it, the only downside was the slap in the face with the pooey tail.
