The reason?
(Sorry about that, I just answered a question with a question)
- If you ask me, the reason for a person's individual existence is determined by that person. For me, it's to be as good as I can to everyone I can during my daily life - my wife, my friends, my family, my co-workers, my customers, the person making my coffee, the people driving in the car behind me, whoever... I think someday, on my deathbed, I'll feel as though I did OK, and that I did what I could to better the world through my actions, as very imperfect as I am.
As for humans in general, I think that's simply beyond our comprehension. I don't think we just "happened" to come into existence, but in that same respect, I also don't think we can understand why we did and what the reason was for it.
This is usually where a faith of some kind comes in =)

In my opinion the reason for our existence is live it out to the fullest. I know that it sounds stupid and makes no sense but seriously think about it. When u came here (to earth) im sure that we weren't intended to become scientists our have a huge line of McDonalds when we came to be. So I think that we should use our abbilities and have a good time no matter what you do; and if you just happen to have a totally awesome talent or u think that u were put here for a reason than use that abbility to the fullest or to your advantage.....other than that do the best u can.

It's not clear what you're asking so I'll take both interpretations...
1) "what is the meaning of life"
Whatever you choose to make it.
You can follow a church doctrine, you can follow scientific reasoning. But what it comes down to is, you choose what you want to believe, and who you are.
2) "how did life begin"
Science says it's all chemical reactions, rocks smack into the earth at set off chain reactions which kick-start various life forms.
Religion generally says the creator of the universe brang life from the heavens or mother earth gave birth to life from inside herself.
Either way, no one was there at the beginning so there's no way to actually know. What we do know is, life is always evolving and the planet is always changing.
Hope that helps!

Our existence is enjoyed by God. He enjoys us. The thing is while we're in this material world, we've forgotten this, and so we try and be God and try to enjoy. We can a little, but it's very brief and superficial. We've been given these human bodies and intelligence to give us a chance to remember our true position with God. Once we do, then we're liberated, and we find real love and our real purpose for existence.

To keep it simple, I'll put it this way: we're here to glorify God.
By reading the Bible (I'd recommend the New International Version version), particularly the book of John, you may see that because of our sin we are in need of a saviour, and that is Christ Jesus. Once you accept Jesus into your life, a whole new world opens up for you - one in which you have a deep, meaningful, and personal relationship with Christ. Through this relationship you will glorify God.
I hope this helps you!

The reason we exist is that we're the accidental product of unthinking, undirected natural processes in an uncreated universe.

Go for a direct experience of reality and find out -- it's the only way. Read '3 pillars of Zen' for a Zen perspective on the enlightenment experience.

According to Solomon, the writer of Ecclesiastes, the reason of our existence is "...Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man." (Ecclesiastes 12:13)

I think it would make more since if you gave an opinioin of why you thought our reason of existence is....but that's just me. I think we exist for the mere being of existing...
