well.....wat should i do with all the letters and things i have from my ex? i have old e-mails and letters he wrote to me when we were 2gether and now we are broken up. i want to keep them but a part of me doesnt. wat should i do? should i keep them as a memory?

See. I see it differently. I think you would regret throwing them away. I think you should put them in a box and label it something funny like "bullsh*t box" or "full of sh*t box" and stick it very far in the back of your closet. Out of sight, out of mind, but if you ever feel the urge to reminisce you can pull the stuff out and look. When you are older you may want to take a trip down memory lane and wouldn't it be nice to have the stuff? Keeping the pics and letters doesn't mean that you are holding on to him, it just means that you are keeping a part of your past that meant alot to you at one point in your life. Keep the stuff. I think you would be sorry in the future if you didn't.

I say keep them until u feel in your heart that u are ready to get rid of them i mean why not there are always gonna be feelings there and sometimes it is good to hang on to the good memories. That way you can look back on them and realize that there was something there at some point in time i still got a lot of **** from my exes from years back and i always still hang on to the memories.

Put all he letters he wrote to you in an old shoe box.
Put the shoe box in the back of a little used closest and forget about them. In the years ahead, you will find them and remember the good times you had together-or not.

You could keep them as a memory...you might want to look back on them when youre older. To keep them as a memory, yet not in sight..you could put everything in a box..tape it or wrap it up real good and put it away to somewhere you never look much. I did that with the guys i dated. I had a box for each one with things in it..until i realized there was getting to be too much boyfriends so i went to putting them in a photo album...kinda like scrapbooking. But with the larger things like stuffed animals...i kept them in my hope chest. If you throw them away, later in the future you might regret it..cuz who knows maybe some day down the road youll end up together again and want those memories to look back on.

Well in the past when you have a new boyfriend do you want him to come across them and think that they are current? No....here's what I did with anything from an ex....letter/e-mails (on paper) burned them.....I got a forget me box...and put any jewelry in there.....stuffed animals and such tossed them....that's the past and whether there is bad blood or not it doesn't matter get rid of it...it's only going to clutter your closet space anyways

is it one of those relationships where you are on and off all of the time and there is a potential of you getting back with him? If not and you think it's over for good, only you know when you are ready to move on. Also, what was the reason for the break up? If he cheated, now would be the time to get rid of it all!!!

Depends. Are you going to sit there and feel sorry for yourself reading them all the time? Or are you just going to stash them away?
Personally, I throw them away, because I don't want the pain that looking at them will cause.

trust me he'll always be a memory but if you truely want to move on you should get rid of the things if your sure u are broken up for good. later on it could become a problem if you have another boyfriend

You should keep them.. you can create a "boyfriend box" and file them away. When you find a new boyfriend and eventually several more, you can look back on the boyfriend box and how silly (or beautiful) the relationship was..
