If you don't want to make the dough your self you can buy biscuits and roll them how you want. Get the oil really hot and deepfry. take out and top with with powder sugar and whatever other toppings you desire. The also have funnel kits at wALMART NOW.

i can tell you how to make fried dough.
buy phyllo dough- seperate the triangles.
deep fry them only a few minutes.
toss in cinnamon-sugar or powdered sugar.
dip in stawberry sauce, hot fudge or vanilla ice cream

Are you talking about Funnel Cakes? I think there are mixes in the baking section of grocery stores. Or you could do a search.
