I dont think they really do. I mean are you talking skinny like "boney" skinny or just super thin..like Paris Hilton skinny..or worse Nicole Ritchie skinny..I dont think guys really like it so much..at least i think they like girls who are in shape, not real overweight, but not skin and bones either. They want some meat to hold on to. It's way more attractive to have some curves..(have you ever seen Paris Hiltons ***!(It's flat as a pancake)
That is not attractive at all! I mean look at women who have a more natural look and a few more curves. Those are the women men are checking out the most. Not the skinny, flat ***, flat chested,bird leg types who are starving themselves to death for a little attention! They (guys) want someone who looks healthy not sickly!

i like all women big and small i really prefer a girl about 5'3'' 125 pounds not to skinny but been with some 5'9'' 300 pounders and that had better **** then the skinny ones most men are dogs like me some may say there not and there all sensitive there just lyers and posers i will come at you with the facts Even a dog likes some meat on his bone i will hit a fat chick but i dont want to be seen in public with a fat chick i would prefer to be seen in public with a good looking chick besides a fat ugly chick sorry just the way i am if it offends oh well

It is true that a majority of men prefer "skinny" girls. But there are alot of guys that like the larger ladies also. Some guys don't care.
NEVER change to please a man. (I am a man) But know that if you are a big girl it would do you good to loose weight and get in shape because you need to take care of yourself and be healthy. The benifit to this would be a better self image (confidence) and you would be in better shape as you get older.
Find a man that will adore you as you are now. Any improvements to your looks later will just be a bonus for him and you!

Because guys are somehow hardwired to be attracted to whatever the current "ideal" of beauty is. Back in the early 1900s they wanted chicks with extreme hourglass figures, in the 1920s they wanted the chicks with the flapper hairdos and showed their knees, in the 1950s they wanted chicks with the boobs that were really pointy and huge.

Unfortunately, the American culture is especially obsessed with this ideal of beauty.

Or we could just go with the fact that guys are dumbasses :)

not all guys. most guys like boobs and girls that are pretty. you could be a little plump, but have a great personality and are pretty and they'll like you. some girls are reallllllly ugly, but because they are confident and have a great personanlity, they like her. They also like if ur athletic and not lazy.
