I'd get a few bits from the front (like near your ears and just a little bit from each side) and pull back loosely like your going to tie it up and get a clip and clip it. Then with the rest of your hair (which is down) put light curls through with a straightening iron.
See ghd.com and go to trends/styling guide and maybe try sea spray waves. Looks nice. Or soft movement with curls
For the hair clip, the type of clip im thinking is http://www.spinmarket.com/images/solar/BearClawsClr2dp.jpg but in diff colours.

Well, I bet you will look great regardless of how you do your hair. First, consider what activities you will be doing on your date. If your date has a convertible or a cycle, you'll want to pull it up. If you're just going on a romantic stroll, leave it down. Don't make the mistake of fixing your hair in such a way that your date won't recognize you. Be yourself. Have fun.

Well, is this date formal, casual, or in-between? If it is formal, do your hair in a neat bun. If it's casual, ponytail. In-between? Sweep all of it on one side and tie it. Keep it low, though, don't make yourself look like an 80's freak! Good luck, and hope your kiss is HOT!

if you want attention to your face cut it! (like a bob or shoulder length or maybe even a pixie) if you don't want to cut it style it. if you have long hair put it up in an elegant bun. if you have short hair try a flip or something. hopew your date goes well!!

if your wearing a black dress, it would always look nice if you had it out, straightened with a curl towards the ends of the hair...it would look really sexy!!..have fun

pulled back with one of those little clippy things holding it, don't you know you aren't suppose to pick your clothes out ahead of time, lets say you are in a crappy mood and you pick tomorrows clothes out based on your current mood, well you will be in a crappy mood tomorrow because of the clothes you picked out today. pick your clothes out when you are getting ready, that results in displaying your current mood.

i would ware my hair down depending how long my hair is: if your hair is long then leave it down but if your hair is somewhat short then pin it up in a bun .............and ware a destinctive neckless
