the quran was recieved in arabic language and is still preserved in the same language without any modification to even a letter of it.the tranlations you find in english or other languages r not considered quran ,they r rather explanation of the meanings of the original arabic text.

It is true, the bible has been corrupted quite farther than many people realise. Do you realise that the books of mathew, etc., there were over 90 originaly, and only the (3 or 4, sorry im not religious) that there are currently are the ones that were chosen to be there... thats just taking out of context. If you dont have the whole message, what is the little bit usefull for¿
And to answer your question, i believe it was corrupted in the year 375 by emperor Constatine in Rome. Varify the date for me anyone... I know it was around there. (this is way before the king james version of the bible)

The real question isn't if the bible, or any other written word is corrupt or not. The question is how are each of us corrupted, and not true to ourselves or our creator. Faith is the essences of things hoped for, and the evidences of things not seen. Your personal relationship with your creator, and what he wants you to understand comes from inside you from him. Every book in the world could be considered corrupted, but it's up to each of us to determine what we are going to believe. Anything can be prov-en, and disproven if you try hard enough. We all need guide lines, and instruction on how to live our daily lives. The bible has more in it then you might think. If you read it only, and not study it or if you take it out of context you will loose a lot. We don't know everything about anything, even if we think we do. Even the most thought of theories are from men, and other men have come alone and proved them wrong. Ideas, thoughts, and theories have come, and gone. But we all need something to hold onto, hope.

I know you are sincerely trying to convert people to your Islam, but the truth is, we Christians already have a faith which does not include your prophet or your book. Why do Muslims kill and persecute Christians in so many countries? If our bible is a book written partly by men and partly by God, what makes you think your precious Quran is any different? Isn't the true Word of God always written in the human heart? Do we not hear God's voice inside ourselves? I cannot in any way believe you when you say that your way is more pure than my way. There are devils walking beside and whispering to us on all the four paths, so we all must be do-diligent in our proceedings, whatever our course.

When the translators of the King James Bible wrote the Old Testament, the oldest available manuscript for them to use, was known as the Masoretic Text. This had been written in the 9th century A.D. It was this text that the translators based their work on the Old Testament. In 1947, a shepherd boy discovered some pottery in caves in the area called Qumran, near the Dead Sea. In these jars, he discovered scrolls, which archaeologists and Bible scholars have researched ever since. Every book of the Old Testament (except Esther) was discovered. Most of these scrolls are dated to 150 B.C. After comparing these Dead Sea Scrolls to the Masoretic Text, the scholars discovered an amazing degree of unanimity between the two, although they were written a thousand years apart. Further, the Septuagint (the Greek language translation of the Hebrew Bible) was also compared. With all of these references, there is plenty of evidence that no biblical doctrine has been corrupted.
Naturally, the next thing that's supposedly corrupted is the New Testament. However, there is no larger ancient body of manuscript evidence in the history of mankind, than the papyri and parchment manuscripts of the New Testament. With over five thousand actual Greek manuscripts, and numerous other manuscripts in four other languages, there are about twenty-four thousand available manuscript texts for the New Testament.
Even if we didn't have these documents, we could almost have a complete New Testament from extra-biblical sources, such as ancient lectionaries, church fathers' records/sermons/writings, etc.
No other body of ancient work comes close. No one really disputes Julius Caesar's The Gallic Wars (10 manuscripts remain, with the earliest one dating to 1,000 years after the original autograph). No one really disputes Pliny the Younger's Natural History (7 manuscripts; 750 years elapsed). Or Thucydides' History (8 manuscripts; 1,300 years elapsed). No one disputes Herodotus' History (8 manuscripts; 1,350 years elapsed). No one really disputes Plato (7 manuscripts; 1,300 years elapsed). No one really disputes Tacitus' Annals (20 manuscripts; 1,000 years elapsed.) Homer's Iliad, the most renowned book of ancient Greece, is the second best-preserved literary work of all antiquity, with 643 copies of manuscript support discovered to date. In those copies, there are 764 disputed lines of text, as compared to 40 lines in all the New Testament manuscripts.
But we have ancient manuscripts of the New Testament that are written within a generation of Christ's resurrection, and people have the audacity to say it's been tampered with!

The Bible like the Qur'an was not written by God. Both were inspired by God, but written by men. All religions are addressed to a particular time and culture, and all religions become corrupted over time. If you will take a look at Matthew 7:12 you will find the word of God that is taught by every religion.

who says it's corrupted and if you choose not to believe in god's holy word then you will be lost in the lord.....there will be many things to test your faith, it seems you are believing in the wrong things. The Quran shouldn't be your subsitute of the bible. The bible was here first before quran and you shouldn't give up on the bible just because of what MEN says God gave us the bible not the quran. don't believe in that quran stuff. i bet the people who told you that the bible was corrupted didn't have the accurate facts to prove it. keep sight in whats good not whats wordly. believe in the bible

Hi,
If you truly believe that the Quran has not been tainted by the minds of scribes, leaders and teachers, then you are as easily mislead as those who blindly think that the bible is the undisputed word of God. If you want to know God, you will find Him patiently waiting to enter your heart. No man, prophet, religion, or book, will take the place of a relationship with your Maker. It is the religions of men that kill and divide. It is the love of our God that heals and unites.

Those are distorted evidences by men who want to get rid of the bible. The bible is accurate history that has been put to the test. The only corrupted bibles are all those new "Versions." i believe the only true English bible is the King James version which was translated directly from the Hebrew and Greek bibles.

It promotes a standard of living and moral code that if practiced in ones personal life can create peace of mind and a sense of purpose and direction. As far as the quran being pure that is a nice thought but um...no. It has gone through all the same trials and tribs as the bible. It also promotes the same principles to live by. My suggestion. Live your life by the book you love and try to help others,.

Answer me this: WHEN was it corrupted?
Sura, Al-Ma’ida [The Table], in verses 43 and 44. There, we read: “How will they come to you for judgement, when they already have the Torah which enshrines Allah’s own judgement? Soon after they are bound to ignore you: they are no true believers. There is guidance, and there is light, in the Torah which We have revealed.” Hence, the Torah, the writings of Moses, are referred to in the Qur´an as the Word of God.
Again, we read in the Qur´an: “Your Lord is best aware of all who dwell in heaven and earth. We have exalted some prophets above others. To David We gave the Psalms.” (Sura 17, Al-Isra’ [The Night Journey], verse 55) Noteworthy, too, are the following words: “We have revealed Our will to . . . Noah and to the prophets who came after him; . . . to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and . . . David, to whom We gave the Psalms.” (Sura 4, Al-Nisa’ [Women], verse 163) Noah, Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac and Jacob are all referred to in the writings of Moses, the Torah.
5 The third writing referred to in the Qur´an is called the “Gospel.” On this, the Qur´an reads: “After those prophets We sent forth Jesus, the son of Mary, confirming the Torah already revealed, and gave him the Gospel, in which there is guidance and light, corroborating that which was revealed before it in the Torah, a guide and an admonition to the righteous. Therefore let the followers of the Gospel judge in accordance with what Allah has revealed therein. Evil-doers are those that do not base their judgements on Allah’s revelations.”—Sura 5, Al-Ma’ida.
Anyone claiming the Bible is corrupted is standing in opposition to the HOLY QURAN!
