Homemade Marscapone Cheese
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese (reg not low fat)
1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
2 1/2 TBSP sour cream (not low fat or fat free)
Beat with mixer until smooth and creamy.

Marscapone cheese is a cheese that is prevelant in Italy. It is used heavily to make "Tiramisu" an Italian dessert. Yes it is similiar to cream cheese but maybe about 10 times lighter and 5 times sweeter.

Italians use it mostly its great at Easter farmers cheese is another one the desserts you can make with it are great i wouldn't put in a bagel though.

its Italian cream cheese, the texture is not as dense as American cream cheese.

This is like a very rich creamy cream cheese. Quite expensive. Thanks for the recipe rx77165, will try that.
