our cats eyes seem to bother her all the time...kinda whinzing...blinky...half a sleep looking...like one does when bothered by severe bright light or due to light sensativity. i don't see any redness of real drainage. only...sometimes a bit of sleep crusties in the corner of the eyes. she is a 5 year old maine coon, incase this should make a difference. thank you!

She may have a form of conjunctivitis, a very common disease in cats. It may be caused by allergies, debris in the eye, or an infection. Discharge from the eye, swelling, and redness are classic signs of conj, though there are more. Take your cat to the vet right away, because it will only get worse and can result in vision loss.
