I am aware that these programs have had success in earlier times; that's probably why President Bush mentioned in his address that he has not optioned out on that issue and is still considering some sort of reform to include this. How will this guest worker program help you? Sorry to hear about your condition.

3) Your information is wrong. Countries with a guest worker program have actually seen an economic DECLINE. I suggest you get better sources. Furthermore, countries who have them find the guestworker overstays their welcome and doesn't go home. Thereby defeating the purpose of being a "guest."
