spersistent or recurrent tonsillitis
recurrent sore throats
recurrent throat infections
swollen tonsils that make it hard to breath
difficulty swallowing

mine broke off a little everytime I had a throat infection when I was a kid so that now there is hardly anything there.everytime they broke off when they were infected I got better. So mine came in handy.They were there when I needed them.
