ROFL!!! I think that person needs a dictionary... fulfill does not mean END. It means he lived by it fully... and tells you to do the same. ^_^

Actually, Jesus said of Leviticus ( Which is the basis of the Talmudic Law ) that " These laws shall stand until the end of time, and not one character of one word shall be changed before that day."

Which is why the Sanhedrin could not charge Him with blasphemy or heresy, as he supported all the Old Testament laws; Even, we must suppose, the ones He Himself broke or ignored.

Some people erroneously think that with the coming of Jesus, the Old Testament and all its laws, commands, etc., are no longer in effect -- they believe the OT has become null and void.

This person is challenging that idea with his question.

In effect, I agree; the OT is NOT null and void because of Jesus. Jesus came to amplify the Laws of God, not destroy them; he came teaching that the actions of the Law must come from the heart, not just an outward appearance.

The bible (OT and NT) has many things in it that were injected by people's egos. Jesus tried to use parables to avoid people changing his message (they did it anyway but most of the parables are apparently unchanged).

Given that, much of the Leviticus stuff is not inspired. Otherwise, we'd have to believe that wearing clothing of two different weaves and cutting our sideburns are mortal sins!

WELL JESUS EXPLAINED FULFILLING THE LAW VERY WELL HERE.
Mt 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
Mt 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Mt 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

No.Christ as much as reaffirmed the Ten Commandments by summing them up in two:Love God with all your heart and soul:Love your neighbor as you love yourself.
