anyone know what type of home theater projector has the highest lumens and longest bulb life?

DLP projectors have the brightest pictures, but their bulb life isn't any better than other types, and in some cases less. Look at the specs of the projector to determine bulb life for comparison purposes. However, you may find that the bulb will need replacement before the specified lifetime. (The bulb in my DLP projector is supposed to last 2000hrs, but after 1000hrs it became dim, and at 1200hrs it started flickering.)
