I wouldnt try it.. You know what, your hair is a BIG part of who you are. Just spend the extra money for pro. highlights. they arent that expensive and they will look 10 times better then you doing it yourself.

Yes, I used them for many years, get the best and read the directions carefully. My hair looked so good and so natural, people always commented on how beautiful it was (I no longer use it because I have to dye my whole head now and don't highlight because I can't with the dye).
When you are first learning, start out just doing a little, around your face for example. Make sure you are using the right one for your hair color. I used L'Oreal and really liked it.

I tried those and those products really are not as good as paying a good salon to do your hair. But if you want to try it the first time. Just make sure you follow the directions carefully. And do the test were just put a small amount on a small area. Some of the chemicals in these products can cause irritation on your scalp.

Yes, it looked nice but the chemicals made my hair more vulnerable to damage- a year later I had some damaged, kinky hairs still.
I was told to get the kind that use heat to color the hair. It makes the hair open up to receive the chemical inside instead of frying the outside.

Yes! I have tried Loreal and it was great. I have dark brown hair and as long as you leave the product in as long as the directions say to, or even longer, you will be fine.
