sorry but if you are meditating regularly AND holding all your anger inside you, then you didn't get the point!
meditation will help you mature, understand a lot of things and many other things depending on how you do it, what you do and what targets you set
if you have the time and peaceful conditions, go ahead and do it and don't go too much by the book. just sit somewhere comfortable and relax fully, close your eyes if you want and just let your mind wonder. sometimes try to gently move away from bombarding thoughts and find quietness.
good luck and have fun otherwise dont do it
and one more for the person who keeps anger - don't. nobody who hurt you is worth your heart being hurt. forgive them and move on. you can never achieve peace if you have war inside.

I did years ago and after some years went by i noticed i had a problem being in silence. It freaked me out. I have slowly been able to tolerate sitting still physically and being still mentally. I have also been able to meditate again, it works wonders when you have a headache.

I am in constant meditation. It is the only thing keeping me from going on a rampage. I hold my anger inside of me, so that I can use it on someone worthy of it later.

Yes, it can be very fufilling as long as you can rid yourself of all distractions. It takes time to get used to shutting your mind off but it is extremely relaxing and can turn a shi**y day into a great one.
