Why are so many American men going to Thailand and Philippines looking for a wife?

I have noticed a growing trend of American and other Western culture males marrying Asian women. What is wrong with a good old American/Western girl?

Because Women from other countries take care of their husbands. American Women are (to good)and (liberalized)
most American gals show no respect toward men. they lie , and cheat and sleep with other men at the drop of the hat. American girls can't cook unless it's in a microwave and out of the freezer or a box............Now mind you I am married to an American girl but I got a good one...I spent 8yrs in the military and have worked at military bases since, I have talked with many American men that I worked with that had married to an Asian girl and the words I stated above are exactly what they told me.

A lot of good old American/Western women don't give some guys a chance..... even nice-looking, educated, kind, intelligent, fun, funny, financially-secure guys who would love to get married and have a family. After trying to meet a nice girl for about 10 years -- and I was not picky -- I finally fell madly in love with a wonderful woman from overseas. We're now happily married. I would have loved to dated a nice American girl, but I never met one who really gave me the time of day....

What's wrong with a good ol' American/Western girl? Maybe she's too modern and independent. Some of these men are looking for women who will conform to more old-fashioned women's roles and be more obedient. Or maybe American/Western women are too ordinary and these guys want more "exotic" women.

Because a lot of boys are raised to believe that a woman must cater to their needs. Once they grow up, they expect their wives to be as obidient to them as mom was to dad. When they get the shock that it will be way too hard to find a woman like that in the western world, they search elsewhere. Some go to Mexico, others Asia, even Russia. I know cause after I got married, my hubby expected me to do certain things and I pretty much laughed in his face. I was not rasied to be a servant. I am an educated and independent woman and I may do things for him becasue I love him, but not because it is expected of me. It is insulting to have a man demand anything to me. He will have much more luck asking me to do something.

first, just because men find wives overseas doesn't really mean there's something _wrong_ with American women.

But you raised a good question. why not study American women and Asian women...build your own list?

I could share my observations, but it wouldn't be in good taste to do so. I can say this much, it would be perverse for a man to pursue pain.

Don't ask YA. Ask your girlfriend. She's the one who might break up with you. Unless you don't care if she does. Thailand does have a lot of things for tourists apart from finding wives. Go with her to a travel guide. Let them convince her.

their hope is to find ignorant, submissive women that will do anything to get out of the life they have. At least that's what many of the american men actually think. read an article on it once. they also seek out russian women as well.

because unlike american women, these women respect the authority of their man. And don't be trying to get up all in a mans face like that.

they love submision respectfull and devoted woman, however this is not allways true, most of the time this very smart womans get away with everything, specially the money
