Hi...We just got a golden retriever...we are looking for golden retriever merchandise...anyone have any good sites they know of..? we are also looking for a divider for the car...so that the puppy can go in the way back..so we are looking for gadgets for dogs as well..thanks in advance for you time! have a wonderful day!

zillions of pet sites on the web, and you're lucky, lots of 'stuff' for your Golden, a well-loved breed. for a lot of things I look on eBay. A lot of those sellers are actually pet stores...just be sure to check seller feedback and ask questions before bidding. Example: a Flexi leash costs $35 for a Golden or similar size dog. But a store on eBay was selling them for $20.
Dividers for the car: also cheaper on ebay but shipping is high. They're great in an suv. If the dog is riding on a seat instead of the back be sure to use a harness made to connect them to a seatbelt. You don't want a 70 lb projectile coming over the backseat in an accident. And he's less likely to get hurt.
re: gadgets. The best gadget you can give your Golden is a lot of love and really good training. This takes a little more time than shopping for gadgets but will insure the best possible relationship for you and your dog. BUT it's fun to dress them up for holidays...make him a costume for Halloween, something for Christmas or whatever.
