I think he grew up just like any other person. Likely worked as a carpenter with Joseph.

What do "I" think happened.
Well never really thought too much on it. I would say he lived among us just as anyone else would. I suppose this would be most supported when he the Jews in Capernaum said "Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know?"
This would indicate that to an extent he didn't stick out. But this is merely my opinion. I do look forward to other answers.

I think if he really was a historical person and not a fabrication of the early Christain following (which he may well have been) then he did nothing of note between those years... perhaps thats when he learned and perfected all of his illusions so he could trick people into believing he had supernatural powers.

I think he wasn't really happy about the path laid down before him, and he rebelled. I mean, imagine having no choices in life? Your Dad told you that you're going to be through some misery and pain to keep the family business running... And you were going to have no wife, kids, or fun. You were to devote yourself to it. That was it, no compromise, no discussion. That's a lot for a kid to deal with. He probably painted some graffiti, chased goats, kicked it with his boys... Skipped school... Drank the wine and passed out in the street once or twice. Who knows? And, you know, I don't think I'd blame him a bit.

probably grew up like everybody else and experienced life like everybody else. I don't know if he did some sinning or not but I'm sure he had to see all we see to know and feel how we feel to die on the cross for us. So, he had to understand what they and we are going thru. Now, we can't say to him "How would know if you haven't felt what we felt?" Because he did. Isn't it amazing how he took billions of people's sin upon himself so we could be free? now that's got to hurt. We as people can only takeso much but he took all of our sins upon himself. That's how I see how he lived during those life times.

I think he lived a normal teen and young adult life as a carpenter's apprentice, and a student at the synagogue until it was God's time to reveal His son.

Hi,
I think that God put Jesus through a lot of intensive training so that he would be able to bring God's people to understand their purpose for being here and to show them the way to eternal life.
I can hardly wait to see God and ask him myself, also to ask God how he came to be.

My personal opinion is that if he was a typical Jewish boy - which he was, he'd have got married at an early age and started to have kids.
So, what do you think?

He had a bar mitzvah and probably got married. It would have been very strange for a man in his 20's not to get married in those times.
