When you're feeling really low, what do you do to pick yourself up?

Eat ice cream in a nice bubble bath, then don't clean up the dishes....Well eventually I clean up the dishes but not right then

I remember that I have a choice. If I'm feeling low, it's because I'm choosing to focus on things that make me feel bad. Then, I turn my thoughts to good things. Usually, I start by making a list of all of the things I'm thankful for. If I don't have time for that, I imagine myself on the deck of a cruise ship drinking a fruity drink.
Sometimes, I just want to feel bad. At those times, I at least acknowledge to myself that it's a choice I've made.

Focus on what you have, what you love about your life, your goals, good times you've had, watch comedy, listen to upbeat music, spend some time with cheerful people.

depends whether its an emotional low, financial crisis low, or a hang over low, but generally i just ignore it, have a beer and move on to something else.

I also like to putter around in my garden.

Generally, stay active. Do NOT sit in your bedroom with all the lights off.
