Yes take off your contacts, go to the doctor to treat your eye, and keep the contact off until the pink eye is gone. Also keep cleaning your contacts in solution because otherwise you could infect yourself again if you put them back on.

Yes. Take it out and get rid of it. No matter how much you clean it, the pink eye will still be on your contact.

I was actually trying to remember that this morning because I woke up and think I have pink eye (fell asleep with my contacts in). I think you are supposed to toss the contacts for risk of re-contamination after it clears up. Hopefully you have disposables and not those one year wearing ones. Contact your eye doctor to be sure - you don't want to mess with the health of your eyes - they're the only ones you get! Good luck.

Yes, because if you put your contact back in after your pink eye goes away than you could get pink eye again because it spreads!

YES! You will damage your eye by holding the infection onto the eye where the infection is. And you could damage the contact too, depending on what kind it is.

Yes and you should not reuse that contact. Plus, conjunctivitis is really contagious. Wash your hands thoroughly after removing yur contact and throughout the day.
