I think a religion is about an ideal, not a god or a set of rules. More a way of leading a better life.
Religion should teach people to be better.
My religion involves a balance of being rewarded for the work you do (no footballers getting £100,000 a week!), but also being encouraged to give to those who can't help themselves - the mentally ill, chronically disabled etc.
I'd love everyone to be a vegetarian (I'm an animal lover, but I also read a very good argument in The Guardian about saving land, feeding more people etc).
Evolution IS how it happened. Renewable energy is the only way forward.
George Bush should be charged with War Crimes.
Those who abuse others should be given sufficiant punishment, but I'd like rehabilitation also.
Paedophiles need to be understood, mental illnesses don't go away with prison time.
Alcohol is fine but don't assault people while you're drunk!
We should use the earth to live, not abuse it.
The rain forest may hold the cure for aids!

I was going to say yes...but I'm not sure of that whole vegetarian thing. Maybe half the week vegetarian the other half not? It would also be more of a movement than a religion....but that's getting into technicalities.

I like your worldview... aside from the "everyone should..." bits. Freedom of choice is key to a good life. You are kind of describing Humanism there... which isn't a religon but a worldview of free thought and compassion for others. Religion should be eradicated... it serves no meaningful purpose.

This sounds like Christianity mixed with communism, with a little mix of Islam, with a dash of Buddhism and Shinto.

You lost me on pedophiles. I would understand them by putting hot lead behind their ears coming out of the end of my 9 mm. I likes meat most vegetarians look sickly to me.

If your give your heart to God you would'nt have to worry about anything because he leads you in the right path. You don't have to have a certain religion, just give yourself to God.
