There are so many questions about "Why do you believe in God?" or "Why should I believe in Christianity/Muslim/Hindu/etc." What I want to know is if ANYONE who has EVER asked or answered that kind of a question has ever had their opinion changed? Or are they content to ramble on about what they think and disregard other opinions?

OK, let me straighten this out. I consider myself a Christian with understandings. I understand that I don't understand everything. I'm not just venting here. I want to know if the discussion of God or another religious entity has ever changed anyone's opinion on the matter, or are people just long winded when it comes to their own ideas?

Well, there are two ways to look at this. If someone is truly looking for an honest answer, they may be open-minded. Others will only use the question to incite anger. People like this will probably not learn anything, regardless of the answers.

Best wishes.

The way you ask the question suggests that you're not really interested in the correct answer but rather try to calm down the inner voice in you.

Hey, take it easy and RELAX! There are people who care about you, OK?

Have a nice day!

Actually its a good thought. I doubt that any Christian will leave the faith because of what they read in Answers. Nor is it likely any atheist will convert.

But, ain't it fun?

Content to ramble on like you just did?
