A group of fifth graders are talking about their christmas presents after they return to school after christmas break. One kid says, "I got a bike". Another kid says "I got some clothes and a playstation". And one of the other kids says "I got $100 from my grandma. The last kid says "I got a bike, a playstation, clothes, $500, a TV, a DVD player, a basketball hoop, a pool table, and all kinds of action figures, I feel bad for you guys for not getting as much stuff as me." Then, one of the other kids says "Yeah, but at least we don't have cancer."

I have known kids with cancer - and I still think the joke is all 3 - yes its crude and crass and in poor taste - but - come on don't we all find ourselves laughing at inappropriate things from time to time? Its life and human nature to do that occasionally - and I wouldn't think (well I would hope not anyway) that a person telling this joke would really mean it in mean way.....
I am quite sure that the majority of people that posted so far have found themselves laughing at something under some other topic that would probably offend others.....
and - it made me laugh - I have never heard this one before

I think it's in poor taste and not funny. I know some people think that kind of joke is funny. Not everybody has the same sense of humor. If they did (I mean if everybody had the same sense of humor as mine), Adam Sandler would never work again.
