i believe that there are a few people (or more) in the world that would be perfecty compatable with one chosen person, and if they decided to settle down, they would go well together, but i dont really believe in the whole long-time manogomy bull sh!t, becuase we are animals basically, if you strip away our civilization we'd be no different than any other animal out there, and we all know that most animals go around have sex with anyone they want, exactly like most of us humans, we arent meant to settle down, have you noticed how many people split up and get devorced?? its an astronomical rate. which only supports the fact that humans just arent ment to have one mate for all of there lives.

No, meant to be means that you live happily ever after. It doesn't take in to account the amount of work, communication, compromise, etc, etc, that is needed to make the relationship work. You can have similar beliefs, hobbies, chemistry, whatever, but if both parties are not willing to do the work, it's not going to happen.

I think there are people you were meant to be with, but not necessarily forever. Take me for instance, I've been with some guys that have REALLY treated me badly, but I learned valuable lessons from them, and I feel like I was meant to learn those lessons.

yes i do. i think that there is that someone out there that everyone is just ment to be with. and the same thing with what we get and dont get in life that we might want or not want. everything happens for a reason and i feel that those reasons are meant to be, we just dont always see that till later in life.

By the 'c' word, i'm guessing you don't...!

I don't think there is just one person who you are pre-ordained to be with; that would be a bit far fetched. But i think it is possible to find someone who is pretty much a perfect match. Note, i say possible, not guaranteed; not everyone is lucky enough to find the right person for them.

Yeah, actually I do. There may not be such a thing as true love, but there is such a thing as a good match. And it's out there, you just haven't found it yet, or bothered to look for it.

yes if you were meant to be with some one that means that you and that person are intersted in the same things and that you are a perfect couple

No. "Meant to be" is an excuse to absolve yourself of any responsibility. It's commonly used as an excuse for shabby behavior.
