Blah blah, blah blah blah blaaaaah. (In my best Peanuts adult voice impersonation)
You need to relax a bit there kido. I bet you are tighter then a frog's *** with his back to high tide.
The environment is not dying. The world is not on the brink of nuclear war. I have not noticed little pieces of broken people laying all around. Nothing is perfect, but we are not at the end of days here.

First, Liberal much?
Remember, if people didn't like their leaders and that's what is being reported, the sensation of media has gone to your brain. Ever consider that the reason these leaders were elected is because they actually were liked by the people? In a democratic state is it only the responsibility of the people to elect the right candidate, I cannot say the same for a dictatorship, which has no specific decided outline of the electoral process.
"improvements of living," as in your words, are not the subject of a due process, it is a matter of objective opinion on your behalf. you have a great concept, but I urge you to think through the seemingly apparent holes of your statements.

We shall unite when the right leader comes along. JFK, KLK, Ghandi, Mandela even Churchill, each of them had faults but they were there when we needed them. They led us through times of turmolt. We can not be victims. If you feel there are no great leaders in the world, why not become a great leader yourself. You must have the compassion and the curiosity (if not the ambition - not the best characteristic of greatr leaders by the way) or you would not have wrote this question. And all the others reading this - You too care? Will you lead us tomorrow?

You've got to be kidding. Never!!!! Too many people hate too much and have too many hang-ups. Everybody thinks they're better than everyone else. Just think of a changing neighborhood, in that, a different ethnic group moves in. Or think of a classroom that gets a new student. People don't like change, but accept it, especially, when there is going to be another change!

When everybody grows their own food, makes their own clothes, drills their own fuel, runs their own companies...
The sooner we can properly manage ourselves with little or not need for ANY form of government intervention (including even local things like law enforcement), then government will be a big part of our lives. And more than likely, it will remain just as corruptible, especially when there is a divide between rich and poor, favorables and untouchables, no matter how subtle it is implied.

As long as there is some form of Money, currency in some form or another with the sole purpose of trade, Something that cannot be used: eaten, crafted into something, etc... peace can never be.
That's the sad horrible truth.
