He is a half teacup poodle half daschund mix, with wispy tricolored fur. I was thinking Soldier.

well it depends on different things about him. you could try naming him after a person you admire or after characteristics, like tiny, or puddles etc. Or name after things you like, money, a type of candy etc. Or have fun with it and be creative, Godzilla, giant, fang.

Soldier sounds great! Lots of people would consider naming a poodle mix something fancy, due the fact that he's a poodle, but that's a great name. also think of his personality. is he a dog that would be looked at as a soldier or not? my dog Jazz is very calm, and that is why we named her Jazz. it's a calming type of music. is Soldier his name? think on it.

Well the only way that I name my animals is to just look at them and deside. If the first thing that came to your head is Soldier than you should go with that instinct. Just please don't give your dog a cutsie name like fluffy or muffin!!
