I really don't see why liberal American's particularly are so prone to giving terrorists rights granted to only citizens of this country.
I don't see anything in Libya's, Iran's, Syria's constitutions saying they are entitled to a fair trial.
But I would agree so long as everything comes into play. If they are to be given all the rights of a citizen and they choose to attack (or attempt to attack) the country, would that not be treason? Can we then execute all convicted terrorist under the current treason laws?

yes, and sometimes the guilty will go free. However, we (all mankind) need to follow the rule of law, no matter what the law is in that country. If we fail to do so then terrorism is the last thing we as a people should be worried about.

They deserve a fair trial...but if you have some Frenchie lawyer come in and try to get them out even though they are guilty...then you have a typical problem with almost all justice systems: sleazy lawyers who just want their dough

Yes, I do, but let's keep the time necessary for a trial to a minimum so that we can get right to the sentencing portion.

Yes, because what if you are accusing the wrong people? Justice means trying your best to uncover the truth.
