I always like having (raw) onions in my vegetable salad, but I also noticed that I always have spasms afterwards.

Stronger foods like onions, peppers and so forth can irritate the ulcer. Standard advice is to lay off them until the ulcer is under control. That may be longer than you take your tagamet and/or antibiotic for Heliobacter pylori.
Have you begun treatment for the ulcer yet? Treatment is a shorter course now that the mechanisms involving ulcers are better understood.

Yes, very bad. As you probably know, an ulcer reacts negatively to acidy foods. Try to stay away from anything with a high acidity level until it heals. Also, you sould go see a doctor to get the ulcer fixed.

Everyone is affected differently, but onions can be bad for someone with a stomach ulcer, and may cause intestinal gas
