If you connected the batteries in series (i.e. 'end to end'), you would probably burn out the motor by doubling the voltage. If you connected them in parallel (i.e. 'side by side') you would get double the battery life.

Making it go faster in this way isn't possible.

If you connect them in series it will most likely damage the scooter motor.

If you connect them in parallel, it will effectively double your battery life.

So no, two batteries cannot make a scooter go faster, sorry :(

Aside from parallel/series considerations, you have not factored in the extra weight the second battery would add to the scooter, which may counteract any extra speed you manage to attain.

I agree with owlwing about the only way to make it go faster would be to change the gear ratio and/or put in a higher rpm motor

If you hook the batteries in series, then it will go faster for a spell. Then the motor will burn out.

If you hook the batteries in parallel, it will not go faster, but will go twice as far. And the motor will be just fine.
