anyone know why my pc doesnt recognize my camera anymore? I d/l new driver but it doesnt change anything. help

I'm sorry if this sounds simplistic, but are the batteries charged or does it have fresh batteries?
If the camera operates normally other than the computer connection, you can try un-installing the driver and any software Sony has for it, then re-install it again.
Try the whole thing on a different computer as well.
Since your camera has remove able media, you can try taking the memory card out and connecting it to your PC. Some newer printers have slots for the memory sticks. You can get a USB connector with a slot for your memory stick at computer stores. (and amazon $35.00)
