well as for my car, yes it can be replaced with $30,000. I dont want my girl to feel bad, I just hope she understands what value it has incase something happens. Is not the money but the hard work that I have invested in it. The life insurance is incase I die of a heart attack or her in case i go nuts...lol.....as for the first comment....I dont know how or by who you learned about been a man.....but please do re-check your info!

What does "my girl" refer to? Your girlfriend or your daughter??
If its your girlfriend, you cannot get life insurance for her or add a spouse rider to your policy. You have to be engaged or married.
If its your daughter, you can pay for her life insurance, but if she is working she should get one on her own.
What do you mean by upgrading your life insurance? Do you mean to get more coverage? If you believe you don't have enough right now, you can get more coverage, just that the new additional coverage will be base on your current age and not the age when you bought the policy.

Let her take it out for a spin. Whats the worst that could happen. She might drive it into something very hard and expensive, but its just a car, right?

You don't have to let her. She is your girlfriend.
YOu can ask to have her added as a driver on your car insurance, but it will likely increase your rates. And if you are not married, I am not sure you can do this easily.
This has NOTHING to do with life insurance, but AUTO insurance.

I've been browsing the internet more than four hours today looking for answer to the same question, but I haven't found a more interesting debate like this. It is pretty worth enough for me.

You can't upgrade life insurance, only purchase additional policies or cancel and purchase new policy.
Tell her to get her own car.

Every time I see a gal in a classic car or muscle car, I know it's her boyfriend's.
If she were my wife, I'd let her drive my baby....but, girlfriend?....she probably just wants to show off to her friends, so I'd say "no".

lol..if your car mean that much to you then don't let her drive it. Its a car, it can be fixed if broken. But if you don't think that your lady is a good driver, then don't do it.
