As "Michael L" said, I'm a Muslim. But it is still a question. I want a logical answer, like what I have in Islam. I know that the God can't be limmited at any circumstances. So how some one can touch god? Let alone competing with him!

Thank you "ThePeskyWabbit" for ur answer but it text of the book does not say that. It doesn't say it was the angel who attacked Jacob. But if we accept that, the angel was the deligate of God, knocking down that special deligate cannot be done because the power of God SHOULD protect it.

I was just reading this the other day!! I didn't get it at first, but perhaps God was "testing" him somehow. It doesn't explain why they fought in Genesis, but perhaps it was to make him stronger or....mistranslation?
well to tell you the truth, I'm an atheist and I wouldn't ridicule the passage, as it probably means something like that, but in reality I think he fought some guy and made a story about it

it truly is the question & imagine it deeply. you'll get the answer that those sorts of are merely bogus. some notorious thinkers imagined those God, Evil etc merely to take advantage the innocents like us. they'd proceed it because they're operating in the back of the rulers/kings/oppressors/ prosperous businessmen . at the same time as businessmen locate someone adverse to their earnings, the fellow will develop into devil to them; and in straightforward words then they interact a so-said as faith-chief adverse to those protesters! First they carry devil & say that those sorts of are devil's play; in the experience that they fail, then they take drastic moves adverse to the protesters.
