It won't go bad, but it can lose its scent. The Juniper used to give gin its scent and distinctive taste will probably disappear over time.

Is it open? If it's open, it may have turned to vinegar or something WORSE, like rubbing alcohol.
And if not open, has it been stored in a cool dark place?
I say toss it. It may have turned into something that will make your liver curl up and die after only 1 sip.
Wait, BETTER YET, give it to me, I'll serve it to my EX.
Here, honey, HAVE A DRINK!!! teeeee hheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

If it hasn't been opened, and it doesn't look like any of it has evaporated, and the color is still clear, it's probably ok. Try a small sip--if it tastes like you expect it to, no problem. If it has been open a long time....no good.
