No the aren't sexually active until they are six months old. They are just cleaning each other and it is normal.

well, i was raising kittens and one of the little females would try to nurse off of the boy kittens privates. they were taken from a feral mother at 2 weeks old and she was just trying to nurse. it' is nothing sexual. maybe your kittens are still young enough to need nurser bottles and kitten formula. Mother cats if left alone will nurse kittens for up to 12 weeks and in a domesticated situations kittens should be allowed to nurse until at least 8 weeks old.

At that age it is not sexual. It won't be until they are 5-6 months old. This is the way that the mother cat stimulates them to urinate and defecate so this probably is soothing to them so they do it to each other. The only thing you have to watch for is that they do not begin irritating the area, if it begins to get red or swollen you need to take them to your vet.

Thats how mama kitties lick their kittens to help them go to the bathroom...that maybe what they're doing. Not to mention cats like to groom each other so its a totally natural thing to lick butts...kinda gross though...but its ok.

This is very NATURAL! You actually have to do something similar to them to make them urinate. Take a paper towel and wipe that area back and forth to have them pee. If the mother cat is not around, this NEEDS to be done or they will fill up with toxics!
