I just met this person and I can't tell if he is addicted to something lke cocaine or whether he is bipolar? Does anyone know the symptoms of either? cause he is not quite right and it's kinda scary sometimes just to talk to him. Like walking on eggshells .

Walk into his apartment with some nice white rocks. See what happens next.
If that doesn't work, ask him if he knows what dogfood tastes like.
Also, if he mentions offhand that he "smokes rocks", that might be a clear indication of a drug problem. Or as what I like to call it...a drug solution. Once you do crack, you never go return.

people with bipolar disorder have a lot of mood swings and can sometimes become agitated easily. Why don't you just ask him?Everyone i know with mental disorders don't mind if you ask
