Sure they should. They just need to be aware that they may not receive only Christian prayers... other religions have different prayers, and if they are offered a Jewish or Wiccan or Druid or Scientologist prayer, they'll have to cope.
Not everyone who comes to a "religion" forum is Christian or atheist.
I think I'd be worried if we started to get overrun with prayer requests, but considering the flippant nature of some answers, I don't think it's likely. This isn't a fellowship forum, and people who ask for prayers will have to deal with rude and derogatory answers just like everyone else... it's not a great place to bare your soul and look for spiritual guidance and support.

Good thing I get to pick and chose which questions I want to read and/or answer. Or I would go nuts.
I don't really care what kind of requests people put up here. I can skip over them if I don't feel like being annoyed. And I'm sure one of the reasons why they are doing this today is because of the terrorists they caught trying to blow up the Holland Tunnel in New York.

I think as long as request for email, request for webcam pictures, as long as request for information on teenage sex outside of marriage, as long as requests for information on different sexual positions and filth such as that is allowed on yahoo, absolutely----requests for prayer should be allowed, too.

Why not? Yahoo! Answers is all about gathering opinions and educated guesses. Who knows the truth about what things behold? If one is too narrow minded to fill their brain cells with knowledge, it doesn't or shouldn't even ask. just make a statement.

Yeah, why not? I think you should ask for prayers from anyone you can. The only ones that I think will be offended are close minded atheists. (Notice I didn't say ALL atheists, just those who are close minded.)

No. There are plenty of other venues for that, and I don't want to be inundated with prayer requests.
