If Jesus wanted to proove that he was God or the Son of God, then why didn't he prove it definitively? Why did he leave the mystery? Don't say to test our faith, because then you say that Jesus was a myth. Because why would he attempt miracles at all? If not to fulfill the prophecies only half way and not for eternity?

Maybe Jesus never did any miracles, maybe he was a prophetic man that Constantine turned into a God 300 years after his death?

These are the questions that the bible must answer...

I'm sorry, but Christians were being fed to lions, murdered, crucified, and put into exile during the time that all the historical records would have been kept. Much like the Nazis destroyed the Jewish geneological records, historical records of those Jews that were killed. Keeping records of miracles performed by the man unjustly charged, beaten, and hung to a cross, wouldn't have been the order of the day.

Besides, the Bible is the inspired Word of God. That's truth. You can't kill the truth. You can taint it, paint it, distort it, demean it, degrade it, diminish it in context, blow it out of context, mix it with lies, venom, and hatred---but you will never kill the truth.

The truth is what God made it----Jesus was, is, and always will be the Son of the Living God---"One in being with the Father," who was present with God in the beginning of the Word----The Word was God, the Word was With God----you, nor anyone else, will be able to kill that truth. Because God created you, too.

You can condemn God's children---Christians. You can condemn His son, Jesus---the Bible says so. But the only unforgiveable sin is blaspheming the Holy Spirit. God will not forgive that. Even Jesus' death will not save anyone from that sin.

"Truly I say to you, all sins shall be forgiven the sons of men, and whatever blasphemies they utter; but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin -- because they were saying, "He has an unclean spirit." -- Mark 3: 28-30

You know how I know I am saved? Do you know how anyone knows they are truly saved? When they proclaim and confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord! They know, then, that they are led by the Holy Spirit.

"Therefore I make known to you, that no one speaking by the Spirit of God says, "Jesus is accursed"; and no one can say "Jesus is Lord," except by the Holy Spirit." -- 1st Corinthians 12: 3

Just fyi, miracles are for the faithful, not the unfaithful.

Even Jesus said when the crowd wanted a good down-home miracle, he said that you wouldn't believe even if he performed a miracle.

I personally could tell you about real miracles, (not TV minister miracles) but I won't do it because 1) you wouldn't believe me anyway and 2) miracles come to the humble. If I bragged about it, I may lose the grace that comes with the miracles.

Good luck in your search for truth, though

If I bragged about it, i'd lose the grace that incorporates the miracles. solid success on your seek for for fact, although

Jesus predicted the destruction of Jerusalem in 70AD (Mt 24, Mk 13, Lk 21).

None. You have it right. Constantine turned Judah Khristos and Rabbi Jesus into one person and then performed a bit of literary Apotheosis. Nothing more.

How much of any part of history can be proven except through eye-witness accounts? People's perceptions of certain events are always distorted because everyone sees things differently.

A social historical event is almost impossible to prove scientifically.

Best wishes.
