Depends upon your crime. If it's petty, Florida is pretty lazy. If it's related to skipping child support, they will come and get you, if it has to do with armed crimes they will come and get you.

If you are arrested in NC and the FL warrant comes up on a computer check of you, the NC agency will check with the FL agency to make sure the warrant's still active (hasn't been recalled by the court or anything) and they'll ask FL if they'll extradite you. (Extradition's the law enforcement word for "coming to get you".) If FL will not extradite you, and the NC agency has no charges of their own on you, then you are free to go. If the warrant has a bond amount, and you're able to post bond, then FL will give you a court date and you'll be free to go. (However, probation violation warrants typically don't have bond.) However, if FL says they'll come get you, then you'll be held until they do.

If you are stopped in NC, they will detain you for about 30 minutes and contact FL and see if they are wiling to come and get you. IF they are not willing to come, you will merley be allowed to go on your way ( it does not do away with the warrant and you can be stopped for it again in the future)

If they do want you, the NC police will place you under arrest and hold you till FL can come after you ( within a couple weeks normally)

Depending on wht county the Warrant was issued, if they chose not to extridite and you have not broken any laws,(Wants Warrant check example if you were pulled over for speeding) they will release you immediately.
