If you don't want to buy doves online then ask someone at a petstore if there's a dove breeder or see if they can order a pair of white doves for you.

If you release doves in an area they are unfamiliar with, they can have a very hard time surviving. If you can keep them in a cage at the release site for a couple of weeks before you let them go, it will help them immensely.

Doves that are released are not doves at all. They are white racing pigeons. If you are set on having a dove, you want to look for a ring-neck dove- but do not release it. Racers are well attuned and generally know where they are going, and rarely get lost. Domestic ring-neck doves are not going to survive if you let them go.

Please dont get doves they wont know how to survive its better to get a pair of white homming pigeons there great and can fly back to there home.
