Yes, but only parboil it for about 15 minutes. Remove it from the water, baste it with your favorite barbecue sauce, grill it on both sides for about 15 minutes each. Then sit down and enjoy a great chicken barbecue!!
Good luck!!

Dont boil it, it will become tough. If you are worried about it not being done. Grill first for 20 minutes on medium to high heat. Check if it is still pink, put it in microwave for 3 minutes on 70% power. Let it rest for five minutes and check again. Do again at 2 minutes if still pink but it reallys should be fine after the first nuking
Good luck

Yes, it takes the grilling process shorter in time. If you still want the chicken to taste yummy, put salt in the water that you boil the chicken in.

Yes, you can, but if you do, don't use water.
Or just water anyways.
If you're going to boil the chicken, use the chance to add flavor. Add a little salt (this helps other flavors get into the chicken)
If you want to start with the basics, a resteraunt would probabily use "court boullion"
Water, carrots, celery, onion, garlic, black peppercorns (whole) salt, and white wine.
But feel free to experiment. Coq au Vin is just boiled chicken in red wine.

You can definately boiil chicken b4 you grill it. The only problem is that it will loose most of its moisture. I see where you are coming from tho to get easier and faster grilled chicken. Good luck just expect it to be dry.

Yes, good idea to do this so that if your grill is very hot, you do not have to worry that the chicken is undercooked. I prefer to do it this way, and you still get the grilled taste.

Absolutely. Sometimes it's better to, especially if it isn't boneless. I like to lightly boil some things the night before and then let them marinate over night and then grill them.
