Let me first tell you that you should not diet when you are 15 because your body is still growing and by dieting the wrong way you will end up hurting your self. From what you are saying your whole diet is wrong . Dieting doesn't mean to starve your self but you should cut down from what might make you fat like junk food or high in fat and sugar . It is great that you exercise but what you did with your diet is miss up your metabolism, in short your body is protecting it self because it is afraid that you will starve your self.
if you really must lose weight you should have three meals ( Breakfast is really the most important meal of the day) Boiled eggs with toast and a glass of low fat milk. Have a snake of fruits before lunch and at lunch eat salad and anything grilled with vegetables and small amount of rice and again have a snack before dinner some fruits and have dinner at 7 grilled or small sandwich .
Keep on exercising and drink lots of water

Flat out simple answer. One week is not enough.

You SHOULD see some results by the third or fourth week. If you cant wait that long, then it's really just too bad. It takes time for any diet to work.

If you don't see some results by that time, look back to make sure you have beed doing what you should have been. By that, I mean, no cheating, no extra snacks, kicking back instead of exercising. If you realize you have been cheating, then it's not the diet's fault, and you may have to start again.

If you know you have been doing it right, then, after the fourth week, or so, consider changing the program.

4 pound gain is nothing. It could be you haven't pooped yet, today, and you just chugged a liter or two of water, etc. It's the trend, each week that will tell you of any progress.

Don't quit your diet.

When a person starts exercising and working out, they normally gain a couple of pounds (5 at the most) right away due to muscle tissue they add at the beginning. Then you start losing it after that.

Happened to me (I'm a grown man) but I ended up losing over 30 pounds.

Just be sure your diet and exercise program is reasonable. Don't go on a starvation diet.

Hint--If you are really serious about losing weight, you need to work out until you sweat. It's the sweating that causes a weight loss.

Well, if you're cutting down on food, your body might just be reacting to that. The human body is designed to store fat, especially when food is scarce (ie: when you're cutting down on food), so in conditions of famine, it starts to convert food into fat more efficiently, which means you can actually gain weight. And even if the diet works, when you go back to normal food, you'll gain it all back, because your body is afraid it won't get the food it needs again.

Dieting (ie: starving yourself) is a bad, BAD way of losing weight in the long run.

Also, if you're lifting weights, you might be gaining muscle, which is heavier than fat.

Muscle is heavier than fat so if you're building muscle you're going to redefine your body shape and put on some weight. You need to be eating a high protein diet, not starving yourself because when you DO eat your body is going to assume that you'll once again go into 'starvation mode' and store everything you consume as fat....obviously that's not what you want.

TEENAGERS SHOULD NOT DIET! For crying out loud, your body is still growing you could cause harm by dieting so young.
Just eat healthy and exercise thats it.
