Jesus and God are the same... Just like you have a spirit, mind, and body...
Think of it like this....
God is like the mind
Jesus is like the body
and the Holy Spirit is like the spirit

This question is at the root of the conflicts between Christian and Islamic faiths. While they both technically worship the same God, the God of Abraham, Islam is very strict regarding the commandment to worship only God.
Many argue that in worshipping/praying to Jesus, Mary, and other prophets/saints the Christian faith is not a monotheistic religion, as dictacted by the ten commandments, but rather a polytheistic religion (like the Greek/Norse mythologies).
I agree with them.

Jesus is God, All things were created through him and without him was nothing created.(john 1:1-3 and Col 1:16-17) Jesus was also fully human. When he was human he prayed to God the Father. Jesus asked us to ask from the father through him. For he is the way,and nobody can get to the father except through him. So pray to the Father through Jesus.

The details depend on your denomination:
People don't pray to saints themselves. They're asking the saints to help further their prayers with God. Sort of like having a lawyer in court rather representing themselves. The saints just help plead case better. The same with Mary.
If your denomination believes in the Trinity, then Jesus and God are the same thing since Jesus is both fully divine and human. His human side prays to God, but as the son he is God.
Essentially, regardless of how you pray and who you ask for help, you're still praying to God in the end.

That is a Hard Question! I know there is one mediator between God and man ;The Lord Jesus.(1Tim 2:5).However Jesus taught us to pray the Lords Prayer and say OUR FATHER so I will follow Christs teaching and pray to the Father. Also Jesus is pleased when we glorify the Father through prayer and especially praise

Jesus said, I and the Father are one. I believe that the third part of the Trinity is the Holy Spirit. So when you pray, if you pray to Jesus, or God, Or the Holy Spirit, you are praying to the same person. I explain the Trinity this way..Water as a liquid can be frozen and it becomes ice. Or it can be boiled and it becomes steam, but all three are the same, water, ice, steam. Believe me, if you and I have it wrong, God knows our heart and if we earnestly seek Him, He will answer our prayers.

Jesus is God. Yes, I know it is hard to understand. God could be whomever he wants and could appear in many places at the same time right? You could pray either way, but, Jesus mentioned that once you finish praying to the Jehovah, to finish a prayer in "Jesus name we pray, amen.", reason is because this way your are acknowledging that God walked on Earth amongst us humans. I know.. it is hard to understand. There are a lot of secrets that can not be disclosed.

You pray to God through Jesus. Don't get too caught up in the semantics. Just pray. God already knows what you mean. You are developing a relationship with God during prayer and that is what is important. It is in those quiet moments of meditation that you can hear His words loudest.

Of course we pray to Jesus! Jesus is our mediator between us and God! The Holy Spirit also prays for us! Jesus is who we ask to help us, guide us and lead us through our lives. Yes, we pray TO Jesus...
