First of all, we all have different ways of being and sometimes the wrong ones. Not only brothers but sisters as well tend to be a pain on someone's butt, especially in their family. I have a brother, he's 22 yrs old and he still teases me, I sure tease him back too, so its just a family matter. Trust me, the angrier you get, the more he will tease you, so just don't pay him no mind cos he probably just wants to see how high or how low your self-esteem could be, cos he might realize how bad some girls see themselves when someone calls them fat!!!

brothers are just like that. sisters can be cruel too. my sister said i'm never going to get a b/f because i'm too ugly and because i'm still flat chested at 13. but i proved her wrong! if your brother is being mean to you, tell him to stop, or (even better) prove him wrong. if he calls you fat, say something like, that you're actually a few pounds below the average weight for a girl your age. when my sister says i'm flat chested, i say "you don't want me to prove you wrong!" lol.
if your brother still calls you fat after you have tried this, just try to ignore him. siblings tend to exaggerate things about you that aren't picture perfect, so it probably isn't true. just because you're not as thin as toothpick doesn't make you fat. just don't let what he says bother you, if he makes fun of you, its probably because he is insecure about himself, and tries to make it better by putting down someone else. don't let him put you down, because that just makes it more fun for him. best wishes! <3

Brothers can be very mean, sometimes it is to tease. But this kind of teasing can hurt people. Maybe he has a problem that he needs help and understanding with. Try talking to him.

If you are overway, it might be his caring way of telling you that you need to lose weight.

I know it does not sound like caring but sometimes it is the family member who, through concern and lack of tact, will tell you what you need to hear.

I would suggest that you take him aside sometime and have a serious talk about it. Tell him how hurtful his words are and ask why he says it.

I have a brother that was mean to me when i was young but know he wont stay out of my house i have a son and a daughter and their little fights remind me of mine and i tell them they will love each other so much when they get older and they are like gross.. Because he knows it gets to you. You have to ignore him at all costs. Don't show any signs of emotion and that should stop him. He sounds like a control freak and an abusive person who only feels better about himself when he puts others down. Please don't listen to him. Try to think about other things and ignore him I know that its hard I live in and abusive situation and I know what I am talking about.
