I am from California but I know here you are allowed to be a lifeguard at age 15 once you take the class. They took about 10 days but the certificate is good for 5 years. Starting out I made $9.50 an hour to play with kids and get a nice tan all day. I loved it and wish I could still do it instead of my regular full time job. If you like the water and people check into it.

Babysitting. That's always an option right?

Its just hard for a 15 yr old to be hired anywhere around here though. I know places like Grandy's hire at 15, but blah! Maybe your own dog walker business. Mowing lawns, that sort of thing?
