Yes, animals have a soul, but they don't have a spirit.

Animals are connected to the universe - the maker of the universe. It's unlikely that animals have souls. We kills animals to eat, for our surivial and so it is unlikely that we were created in this way only to be killing souls int he process. However, animals certainly have personalities and love and affection and we do enjoy them.

I don't know for sure if they have what is termed to be a "soul" or not, but I feel they have a spirit. I hope there is a heaven for animals, because I know one who is worthy of heaven more than many people I know, including myself

I don't think they do. I'd like to think that they do.
But if you are worried about a pet who died, take heart! The Bible says God's eye is on the tiniest sparrow! So He knows the animals and cares about them. Also, Christ is due to return riding a horse-so that tells me that there will be animals in heaven.

Good question. The Bible states that the Lion will lay beside the Lamb.. Also that God has his eyes on the Sparrow. I sure hope they do because most of them deserve a good home. J. Kelly

I really believe that they do. When you scould them they drop thier heads and pout. So I figure that if you can hurt thier feelings they have a soul . God Bless mitsy

yes they have souls. They breathe like us bleed like us feel like us.A fool is the only one that would beleave they dont,and they should be the ones caged and tested on.

well if humans do and they belong to the animal kingdom, then I believe that animals do too.
