I mean, if you have to choose something (toaster oven, stereo, whatever) with a blue LCD screen or a green LCD screen which color would you prefer?

Green. Green is more friendlier on the long run. Blue looks cool when you buy it, but the strong blue spot usually annoy people. A study showed people covered the blue LED on their monitor after a while with masking tape. Strong blue light is quite rare in nature, while all shades of green surrounded us for hundreds of thousands of years.
All right, you want both worlds. Then buy one where you can set the color of the display.

Green, but the blue is like a blue-green, but def. GREEN. It's cooler.

it really depends on where you happen to live. if you live in the northern hemisphere, blue would be better.
if you live in the southern hemisphere, then, obviously green would be the best choice. but if you live on or withing twelve miles of the equator, get one of each.
