ok there is this shy guy he is my best friend and he tells me everything, i think he likes me by that way he looks at me and he is always helping me or like if we r playing a game he makes it towhere i win..... but he said that he likes some one else... does he like me or not? we talk everyday.. and if i cant get on messanger until like midnight (he is out of town rite now) he will stay up till he talks to me..... so does he like me?????

I think he definitely likes you or cares alot about you. The question is if you like him. If you like him enough then you should make it to where you get put into situations where your really close. Like wrestling... Me and my best friend were wrestling one day like we always were and one day we just got really close and I didn't realize how much I liked him. We ended up kissing that day and then eventually dating. He alway told me that he liked someone else too and he even asked me for advice on getting girlfriends and of course I helped him but in the end it didn't even matter because it turns out that he has liked me for the longest time. If you do end up making a relationship out of it BE CAREFUL cause going from best friends to boyfriend and girlfriend is dangerous and if you break up it's really hard to be friends again...

Well, there is no way to DEFINATELY say he likes you... but it seems so. He may like another girl as well. Guys tend to like many girls at one time. He may also really like you, but he may be afraid to take it to the next level because it could ruin the friendship. He sounds like he's very caring and that he feels like he trusts you enough to share his thoughts and feelings. The question is - do you like him? If so, are you willing to risk the friendship to be with him? If you do, I suggest telling him - there is no reason to shy away from your feelings :)

Yes he likes you, but who knows, if it's just as a friend or something deeper. There is only one person, who really knows, and that's him. So just come out and ask him, what he thinks of you.
At least you will know where you stand with him, then.

Absolutely, he's just much too shy to admitt that... he practically loves you, if not more.
Because just in case you didn't know, guys don't like girls as "just friends" unless they haven't reached puberty, they want a gf!

i had a kinda similar problem....i think he likes u and hes tryin 2 make u jealous. if ur really best friends, just ask him straight out. or, if thats not ur style, hint subtly that hes acting w/ u the way ur friends boyfriend is acting towards ur friend...u get it? good luck!! but if it doesnt work out, remember your friendship you have now.

he probably does and if he is really shy he wouldnt tell u anywayz maybe u should ask him if u like him be like 'hey do u like anyone?" and even if he says no u could say well too bad cause i like u alot maybe then he would tell you
