Go to Prison Talk Online. It's a place like Yahoo Answers exept for people who have family, friends, etc. in jail. It's free to join.

Go to craigslist.com Place an add there (you'll have to find the right section)
Tell your brother's story, and say you are looking for someone to write to him by regular post to help him keep his spirits up. You will find someone who wouldn't mind doing it. You can also check with the minister of your local parish usually he would be able to find someone as well.

pay 7 cents a day and adopt a skinny etheopian kid for him to write back and forth to. He could live vicariously through the kid!
