No such thing as a free lunch. Just go buy one for the store, they're not that expensive. Heck when I bought my computer, the software for it was already installed. It's called SONIC.

Otherwise try downloads.com or windowsmarket place, you might get some free trials of some.

Many DVD's come with software, like HotLlama, or InterVideo, or even Interactual DVD Player.
Put in one of your DVD's into your computer, and see if an installer comes up.
You can also search Google/Yahoo for free DVD software.

Remember: You need a DVD drive to play DVD's in a computer. A CD Drive will not play a DVD.

i use media player classic or vlc player both are outstanding media players

go here to get the k lite codec pack download the full one and it'll include media player classic and a real player and quicktime alternatives too :-)
